Open Streets University of Minnesota + Motley
Zone Assistant

Shift: September 08, 2019 at 3pm to 5:15pm

You will be supporting Zone Leaders with shift breaks, supporting Street Ambassadors engaging with event goers and helping with keeping areas moving so it's easier and safer for folks to travel along the route walking and biking.

The Open Streets University of Minnesota + Motley route is 1.2 miles long, so be sure to dress comfortably and bring anything that you may need to make it more enjoyable for you. If you have a bike, rollerblades, skates or skateboard that would really help you in getting around in your zone, however walking is just fine, too!

It will be beneficial for you to attend the Zone Training on September 2nd from 6:00pm-7:30pm. This meeting will give you details and information about the route, tasks and you will potentially meet with Zone Leader you will be supporting. Our Volunteer Coordinator will follow-up with you before the training session and let you know the location.
