As a Zone Leader, you will be supporting the Volunteer Coordinator with making sure the event is safe and fun for everyone. This entails keeping track of and supporting Street Ambassadors in their roles, engaging with event goers with questions (bathrooms, trash, programming) and supporting day of emergencies. Zone Leaders will have a materials to carry that will all be put in a back pack, weighing between 10 - 15 pounds. The farthest distance that Zone Leaders will travel is a mile to get to your zone stations.

Since this is an all day volunteer position, we are offering a $75.00 stipend which will be given at the end of the shift when you check back in at the volunteers tent.

If you can bring a bike, rollerblades, skates or skateboard to Open Streets Lake+Minnehaha that would really help you in getting around in your zone, however walking is just fine, too!
